Description: Saturday, Sept. 4: 2nd annual Run For Their Lives 5k to support Northeast Florida pregnancy centers. Race begins at Hemming Plaza in downtown Jacksonville, 135 Monroe St. West at 8 a.m. Registration takes place on-line or before the race between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. $20 in advance, $30 day of race. Description: The North Florida Christian Bass Club is holding our 7th annual charity bass tournament to benfit the Florida Baptist Children's Home on September 11th 2010 at the Palatka City Docks in Palatka, Florida. This event last year resulted in 85 boats showing up and we raised $10,000.00 for the children's home. Entry fee to fish the touranment is $110.00/ boat.
